I am interested in serving on any of the committees listed above because I would like to be able to use my past experiences and training to help better the Elk River community. am passionate about community involvement and love helping people in any capacity possible. I feel that my past experiences would allow me to serve the community of Elk River in a well-rounded and professional capacity. Relevant Experience: Please describe your educational, professional, civic, or community participation, which may be relevant in serving on this board/commission. I have a B.A. and an M.A. in Communication and am currently working on my EdD at Hamline University. Throughout my education I have volunteered in a variety of capacities. I have helped facilitate community service outings. I have helped develop partnerships between towns pertaining to community outreach and historical preservation. I have also worked with organizations for recreational/park planning/ management.
