APPLICANT INFORMATION Name: Mary Stewart City of Residence: Elk River Occupation: Retired Accounting Supervisor Employer: Formerly Great River Energy Statement of Interest: Please state briefly why you are interested in serving on the board/commission for which you are submitting this application. I have lived in Elk River for over 26 years. I have taken a self -driven early retirement from Great River Energy. I was intrigued when I heard that you were adding two additional commissioners to the Utility Commission. I feel that my educational and work experience provide an exceptional fit for the position of Utility Commissioner. Relevant Experience: Please describe your educational, professional, civic, or community participation, which may be relevant in serving on this board/commission. I worked in the Finance dept of Great River Energy for over 16 years. I had various accounting positions with the final eight years as the Acctg. Supervisor, responsible for all of the financial reporting, general ledger and the Accounts Payable. I was also a member of the national G&T Acctg. and Finance organization for Finance & Acctg. professionals. Attendance: Are your aware of the importance of regular meeting attendance including the time commitment involvedreparing for meetings, and do you feel you have the time available to be an active participant? es o Comments: I agree that regular meeting attendance is very important. Fortunately, I am retired and my time is very flexible.
