See the specific board and commission <br />description for additional information. <br />APPLICANT INFORMATION <br />Name: Mary Stewart <br />City of Residence: Elk River <br />Occupation: Retired Accounting Supervisor Employer: Formerly Great River Energy <br />Statement of Interest: Please state briefly why you are interested in serving on the <br />board/commission for which you are submitting this application. <br />I have lived in Elk River for over 26 years. I have taken a self -driven early retirement from <br />Great River Energy. I was intrigued when I heard that you were adding two additional <br />commissioners to the Utility Commission. I feel that my educational and work experience <br />provide an exceptional fit for the position of Utility Commissioner. <br />Relevant Experience: Please describe your educational, professional, civic, or community <br />participation, which may be relevant in serving on this board/commission. <br />I worked in the Finance dept of Great River Energy for over 16 years. I had various <br />accounting positions with the final eight years as the Acctg. Supervisor, responsible for all <br />of the financial reporting, general ledger and the Accounts Payable. I was also a member <br />of the national G&T Acctg. and Finance organization for Finance & Acctg. professionals. <br />Attendance: Are your aware of the importance of regular meeting attendance including the time <br />commitment involvedreparing for meetings, and do you feel you have the time available to be <br />an active participant? es o <br />Comments: <br />I agree that regular meeting attendance is very important. Fortunately, I am retired and <br />my time is very flexible. <br />
