I have a passion for parks and recreation and feel that it is an integral part of improving the quality of life for all in the community. As a resident of Elk River, I would like to be able to use my professional experience to further assist the City and community. Relevant Experience: Please describe your educational, professional, civic, or community participation, which may be relevant in serving on this board/commission. I have worked as a Parks and Recreation professional for the last 13 years. In addition I have a BS in Public Parks and Recreation and a Masters degree in Public Administration. I have also served in a volunteer capacity on the board of directors and multiple committees for the Minnesota Recreation and Park Association. Attendance: Are your aware of the importance of regular meeting attendance including the time commitment involvedinpreparing for meetings, and do you feel you have the time available to be an active participant? esL� ET Comments: I'd like to thank you for your consideration regarding this opportunity to serve on the Parks and Recreation Commission.
