It is a collaboration of
concepts, plans, and ideas brought together by residents, task forces, councils, commissions, staft:
consultants, and countless others. This plan reflects a lot of the same ideas that our residents had in
the middle and latter part of the 20th century. However, many of the concepts, plans, and ideas have
been refined to meet today's changing community. The Comprehensive Plan is a working document
that must be revisited every 5-10 years.

The Comprehensive Plan addresses just about any aspect or situation that Dayton may be
faced with as the City matures and develops.
