<br />Geographic Factors <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Because of the district's large size, north-south orientation, and shape, there are unique challenges. <br />The Crow, Elk, and MissisSippi rivers divide the district. In addition, maJor highways (10,101,94, & <br />169) criss-cross the district. It contains portions of Wright, Anoka, Isanti, Sherburne and Hennepin <br />Counties, all or part of seven cities and six townships. We have significant student populations in four <br />counties: Anoka. Hennepin, Sherburne. and Wright. Two of the counties (Hennepin and Anoka) are in <br />the seven county Twin Cities Metro Area and thus subject to control by the Metropolitan Council.
