Plannine: Commission The City Council interviewed Planning Commission applicants on December 14,1998. Appointments to the Planning Commission were not made at that meeting due to the ordinance requirement that Planning Commission appointments be made at the first Council meeting of the year. . There are two terms expiring on the Planning Commission. The terms expiring are those of Joseph Schuster and Louise Kuester. Both have requested reappointment. Joseuh Schuster has been on the Commission for 10 months. He was originally appointed to fill a resignation. Joseph has been interviewed by the Council and is requesting to be reappointed to the Commission. (Application attached). Louise Kuester has served on the Planning Commission for 6 years (2 complete terms). The City Council indicated its interest in reappointing Louise Kuester for another term on the Planning Commission. Louise is requesting to be reappointed to the Commission. The Council decided not to interview Louise. (No application attached). Marlvs Olson has submitted an application. Marlys has rated her interests at the beginning of her application with the Planning Commission being at the top of the list. Marlys was not interviewed by the City Council because she was ill during the interviews. She is, however, still interested in being considered for appointment. (Her application is attached).
