West rt /JAIl <br />Fire Chief <br /> <br />FROM: <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />December 11, 2000 <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Full-Scale Exercise <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Reauest <br />The city of Elk River has been approved for a Hazardous Materials Emergency <br />Preparedness Grant for the May 5,2001 full-scale exercise to be located in the <br />city of Elk River. Enclosed you will find information in reference to the grant <br />received from the Department of Emergency Management State of Minnesota <br />for $1,500. <br /> <br />The Mayor and City Council must approve a resolution authorizing execution <br />of the grant agreement. The resolution authorizes Lori Johnson, Finance <br />Director and myself to execute the agreement on behalf of the city of Elk River. <br /> <br />The full-scale exercise will be May 5,2001. The planning process has begun for <br />all of the response agencies that will be involved in the full-scale exercise. <br /> <br />If you have any questions please feel free to call me at the Elk River Fire <br />Department (763) 441-4919.
