This soil is not considered <br />prime farmland. <br />Seelyeville-Markey complex (1288), 0-1% slope, is found in depressions, on stream terraces, and <br />in outwash plains. The drainage is considered very poor, and as a result the water table is on the <br />surface. The soil profile consists of layered muck. The parent material is organic matter. This <br />soil is not considered prime farmland. <br />There are no special site conditions relating to erosion potential, soil stability or other soils <br />limitations, with the exception of the fact that the ridges in the northeastern portion (Stonelake- <br />Sanburn 1253E) and east central portion (Stonelake-Sanburn 1253E and 1253C) of the site are <br />listed as Stonelake-Sanburn complex soil types and would be considered steep between 6 to 40 <br />percent slope, with highly permeable soils that are excessively drained according to the natural <br />drainage class description provided by the NRCS. <br />Based on the preliminary site development plan for the Phase I activities there would be <br />approximately 25,000 cubic yards of soil moved during excavation, grading and site preparation <br />of the off-road truck track and 3,500 cubic yards of soil moved for the open space area. The <br />footprint of the off-road truck track is approximately 10.2 acres, and the footprint of the open <br />space area is approximately 3.5 acres. Final soil quantities could vary based on the contractors <br />construction methods or potential soil corrections due to unsuitable material encountered at the <br />site. <br />The proposed slope grades created for the spectator areas, open space, and access roadways will <br />match the existing grade as close as possible. Disturbance of steep slopes will minimized or <br />avoided to the greatest extent possible. Best Management Practices and various turf <br />establishment methods will be utilized to stabilize soils after each construction phase. <br />Phase II will require more extensive grading for campground sites and auxiliary circulation, <br />gravel road network. Grading is anticipated to be approximately 15,000 cubic yards within a 43.7 <br />acre footprint.
