My name is John Dailey, resident on 196th lane in the Hillside Estates development. I just wanted
to let you know that after attending my first city council meeting ever, I was pleased by the council's
previous and continuing support of NOT installing a cuI de sac on Auburn St. This would only
increase the flow of traffic on 197th, which would not be safe. If in the future 196th becomes a new
outlet, which is more safe, then a cuI de sac on Auburn might be a good idea, but even then, only if the
idea receives a majority support from the community.

As for other suggestions to make Auburn more safe, here's mine: install a sign just after turning onto
Auburn that reads: "Slow, children at play." And another one on Wilson after enter ing from 197th.
Maybe that would help; we do get people that like to cruise thru, especially in summer. Speed
reduction signs would also be effective. Anyway, these are my thoughts, while they're fresh in my
mind. Thanks.

John

Do You Yahoo!?
Yahoo!
