Motion carried 5-0. <br />7.2 Ordinance Amendment: City of Elk River to ANow Decks in Wetland <br />Buffer Setback <br />Mr. Leeseberg presented the staff report. <br />Mayor Dietz opened the public hearing. There being no one to speak to this issue, <br />Mayor Dietz closed the public hearing. <br />Moved by Councilmember Burandt and seconded by Councilmember Olsen <br />to adopt Ordinance 16-24 amending Section 30-1852, Performance Standards <br />of the Elk River City Code. Motion carried 5-0. <br />7.3 Sprint/Veteran Signworks — 19179 Freeport Street NW <br />■ Conditional Use Permit: Amend Elk Park Center Planned Unit <br />Development Agreement Relating to Signage <br />Mr. Carlton presented the staff report. <br />Mayor Dietz opened the public hearing. There being no one to speak to this issue, <br />Mayor Dietz closed the public hearing. <br />Councilmember Wagner questioned how this would affect businesses along Highway <br />10. <br />Mr. Carlton explained this request only affects the Elk Park Center Planned Unit <br />Development Agreement. <br />Attorney Beck added this request is consistent with all properties zoned C3. <br />Moved by Councilmember Burandt and seconded by Councilmember <br />Westgaard to approve the Conditional Use Permit to amend the Elk Park <br />Center Planned Unit Development language to be consistent with the wall <br />sign regulations of the C-3 zoning district. Motion carried 5-0. <br />7.4 Pauline Clark — 611 Xenia Avenue NW <br />Zone Change: R-Ic (Single Family Residential) to R -2b (Two - <br />Family Residential) <br />Mr. Carlton presented the staff report. <br />Mayor Dietz opened the public hearing.
