The commuter line, growth of the Twin Cities in <br />the northwesterly direction, a healthy economy and low unemployment, etc. are all presenting <br />opportunities for growth as well as challenges to manage change for the benefit of the <br />community. I would like to participate in this process and feel that involvement through the <br />Planning Commission would be an excellent way to do so. <br /> <br />EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE <br /> <br />My background includes a BS degree in finance from Purdue University and 30 years experience <br />in business. I have been a financial analyst, administrative manager, controller and facility <br />manager and have worked for both large and small companies, including two start up businesses <br />in northern California. Currently, I am the Accounting Manager for Remmele Engineering, Inc.'s <br />Micro Machining Division in Big Lake. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />I have had experience developing and presenting capital plans and proposals for a variety of <br />projects. I have also been responsible for developing business plans and operating budgets for <br />many different types of businesses. I feel this experience, as well as general management / <br />organizational skills, would enable me to contribute to the success of the commission. <br /> <br />. <br />
