Reauest bv Madison Marauette Realtv Services for an Amendment to a <br />Conditional Use Permit to Allow Additional Wall Slanaae for NorthStar Access, <br />Public Hearina Case No. CU 00-39 <br /> <br />Planner Steve Wensman indicated that Madison Marquette is requesting to <br />amend the conditional use permit for the PUD Agreement for Elk River Plaza 4th <br />Addition to allow two wall signs for Northstar Access. <br /> <br />Steve reviewed the staff report on the issue. <br /> <br />Mayor Klinzing opened the public hearing. There being no one for or against the <br />matter, Mayor Klinzing closed the publiC hearing. <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBER THOMPSON MOVED TO APPROVE AN AMENDMENT TO THE ELK <br />RIVER PLAZA 4TH ADDITION PUD AGREEMENT TO ALLOW NORTHSTAR ACCESS A <br />SECOND WALL SIGN FACING HIGHWAY 169. COUNCILMEMBER MOTIN SECONDED <br />THE MOTION. THE MOTION CARRIED 4-0. <br /> <br />7.3. Reauest by Christine White for a Conditional Use Permit to Allow Horses on Less <br />than 5 Acres (4.23 acres), Public Hearina Case No. CU 00-40 <br /> <br />Planner Steve Wensman stated that Christine White is requesting a conditional <br />use permit to keep horses in the R1 a zoning district. He stated that the keeping of <br />horses is a conditional use in this zoning district if the property is less than 5 acres in <br />size, and noted that the subject property is 4.2 acres in size. Steve stated that the <br />Planning Commission recommended approval of the request. <br /> <br />Steve reviewed the staff report on this issue. <br /> <br />Mayor Klinzing opened the publiC hearing.
