These store also need to be identified and pointed out to <br />the public. Cennex, a national franchise who provides fertilizer to coops, does provide a <br />phosphorus free fertilizer called "Clear Lake". Hardware Hank and Home Depot provide <br />low or phosphorus free fertilizer. Scott's "Four Step" program contains phosphorus and <br />they are reluctant to change. The Lake Orono Water Quality Task Force is willing to take <br />the lead on informing the public of the difference in the attitudes of these various stores. <br /> <br />Recommendation - Staff and the Lake Orono Water Quality Task Force recommend the <br />City of Elk River City proceeds with a fertilizer ordinance. <br />
