The applicant is seeking a CUP to combine and operate three Off-road <br /> Racing Facilities (ERX track,TORC track, and go-kart track) into one 42.48 acre parcel. <br /> State statute limits municipal approvals when a property is undergoing an Environmental Assessment <br /> Worksheet (EAW) review. This property is currently under such a review for the off-road racing <br /> facilities, specifically the anticipated attendance for their larger events. The comment period for the EAW <br /> has closed, and staff is working with ERX to finalize the document and bring it forward to the City <br /> Council for approval in early January. <br /> Planning Commission Meeting Summary <br /> Staff presented the plat and CUP to the Planning Commission on November 29, 2016, to ensure <br /> comments could be addressed prior to Council action in January. No one spoke for or against the request <br /> during the public hearing, and staff has not received any comments since the Planning Commission <br /> meeting. <br /> The Planning Commission had no comments or concerns and the applicant has no issues with the <br /> recommended conditions. The Planning Commission unanimously recommended approval of the <br /> request. <br /> Financial Impact <br /> None <br /> Statutory Review Period <br /> Per State Statute 15.99 the required 60-day review period was extended to January 24, 2017. <br /> Attachments <br /> ■ None <br /> POWERED 6T <br /> AR <br />
