CITY OF ELK RIVER <br /> 2017 COMPENSATION PLAN <br /> FOR NON-ORGANIZED EMPLOYEES <br /> PAY <br /> Pay Ranges <br /> 1. All current pay ranges of the approved City Pay Plan shall increase two and one half <br /> percent (2.5%) effective the first pay period of January 2017 which begins on December <br /> 25, 2016. <br /> 2. Waste Water Treatment Operators shall be paid as follows: <br /> License Step <br /> - A <br /> D B <br /> C C-D <br /> B E <br /> With satisfactory performance and once a license has been obtained, the employee shall <br /> immediately move to the lowest step for that license. The employee may move up one <br /> step on the first pay period of July until the highest step for that license has been reached. <br /> Step Increases <br /> 3. Effective the first pay period of July 2017,which begins June 25, 2017, all non-union full- <br /> time and eligible part-time employees receiving a satisfactory rating on their performance <br /> review will move up one step in their pay range. <br /> All orientation period employees will receive increases as stated in their employment <br /> letter. If no special provision was outlined in the employment letter, the employee shall <br /> receive the first step increase on the date noted above provided they have successfully <br /> passed Orientation and are performing satisfactorily. <br /> Part-Time Pav <br /> 4. Effective January 1, 2017, Paid On-Call Firefighters shall be paid in accordance with the <br /> following schedule: <br /> Position Hourly <br /> Probationary Firefighter $ 9.50 <br /> Firefighter $13.54 <br /> Lieutenant $14.04 <br /> Captain $14.54 <br /> District Chief $15.04 <br /> Assistant Chief $15.54 <br /> Additional Educational Incentive Pay shall be paid as approved by the City Council on <br /> October 27, 1997. <br />
