Executive Summary Company biography and other relevant information Ell: River Golf Club (ERGC) was established in 1960. During the regular golf season ERGO has between 50 to 60 employees. ERGO is located at 20015 Elk Lake Rd. Elk River, SIN 55330. ERGC is a shareholder owned corporation with 295 shareholders. Over the years ERGC received 4 out of 5 stars from Golf Digest and has also received atop 10 ranking in course conditions, staff, and value by a twin cities golfing guide. In addition, ERGC has been regularly asked to host state events, such as the State amateur and State Players tournaments. We have also hosted the PGA Sr. Match Play and the VVr'MGA 'Women's Mid Annateur tournaments. Experience, past performance and capacity ERGC comes with years of experience at the management level. Jon Varry has over 32 years of experience as a golf course superintendent with a degree from. Penn State University- in Turf Management. Mr. Varty has consistently kept ERGC in pritne shape and has worked within his allotted budget. His attention to detail and years of experience allows him to deal with most any situation that would arise. Chris Singer has been the General Manager at ERGC for the last nine seasons. Prior to joining ERGC, he was an assistant professional for 7 years at Purple Hawk Goff Club in Cambridge, iv1N and Mill Run Golf Course in Eau Claire, VVI. Mr, Singer has a degree in General Management from UXV-Eau Claire and is endorsed by the PGA following completion of the PGA msunagement program. During the last nine years, together both Mr. Vatry and Mr. Singer have worked close to work through difficult economic times for the golf industry, elevate the Elk River Golf Club operation and restructure the company to have continued success going forward.
