The city <br /> and chamber along with Representative Nick Zerwas and Senator Mary Kiffineyer visited 10 <br /> manufacturing businesses during the week. The businesses met and many offered a site tour. <br /> In an effort to recruit, attract and educate our local high school students and their parents about the <br /> manufacturing industry, the city partnered with the chamber and school district on a Student to Career <br /> Manufacturing video which will be aired during this presentation. <br /> The three partners worked with the Industrial Technology teacher at Elk River High School and the <br /> students to produce this video currently aired on the city website. The video was also aired on the <br /> chamber and school district websites in October.
