For the spreadsheet, <br /> Troy Adams pointed out that Option 3 offered the same benefits that were passed last Tuesday, <br /> with the addition of the 13.28%blended increase, and that Option 2 with the 90%deductible <br /> and 16.41%blended increase was presented at the request of Daryl Thompson. John Dietz <br /> provided a handout that contained a summary comparison between the 80%and 90%deductible <br /> plans,and went over the differences between the two plans. <br /> After discussion, Commission consensus was to go with the same renewals that were approved <br /> at the October 11,2016 Commission meeting,with the exception of changing it to a blended <br /> increase of 13.28%across the board. <br /> Daryl Thompson made a motion to approve the insurance renewals with a 13.28% <br /> increase to employees across the board for both the Aware Gold Plan with the 80% <br /> deductible, and the HSA plan with no changes in coverage from 2016 including the <br /> employer contribution to the HSA. Al Nadeau seconded the motion. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> 3.0 ADJOURNMENT <br /> Daryl Thompson made a motion to adjourn the special meeting of the Elk River <br /> Municipal Utilities Commission at 9:20 a.m. Al Nadeau seconded the motion.
