Parks&Recreation Commission Minutes Page 5 <br /> October 12,2016 <br /> have been a couple incidents out at Woodland Trails Park,which were reported and <br /> damage was repaired. <br /> Mr. Hecker shared that at Hillside City Park the agreement with MORC will have <br /> Trail Ambassadors. It is volunteer bikers who monitor the trails. <br /> Mr. Sevcik stated that the position will also be a good customer service type of <br /> position and is an exceptional benefit to the public. <br /> Commissioner Niziolek reinforced the idea of them being the informant/educator of <br /> park rules. <br /> Chair Anderson asked to review other Park Ranger program information at <br /> November commission meeting. <br /> 9. Parks and Recreation Director Update <br /> Mr. Hecker presented his staff report. <br /> Mr. Sevcik shared pictures and an update of the expansion of the Rivers Edge <br /> Commons Park. <br /> Council member Wagner asked if there is a way to get a schedule of the construction <br /> stages to the businesses so they area informed. <br /> Mr. Sevcik said they will work on informing them as best they can based on when <br /> subcontractors will be there to do their job. <br /> Chair Anderson asked if the contractor has a freezing plan for the concrete <br /> protection. <br /> Mr. Sevcik shared that the only thing left is the lower level parking lot curbing.And <br /> will check on their freeze plan. <br /> 10.
