The bargaining unit includes 23 employees including park,building, and street <br /> maintenance operators and respective leads, mechanics,building technician, and custodians. <br /> A tentative agreement was reached on July 28, 2016,with the assistance of the Minnesota Bureau of <br /> Mediation Services. <br /> The contract includes 2016 and 2017 wage increases and employee benefits consistent with non-union <br /> employees. <br /> Financial Impact <br /> Retroactive wages and health insurance benefits were accounted for in contingency in the approved 2016 <br /> budget.
