The parcel is a remnant piece that remained after the re-alignment of Cleveland
Street. Schematic development plans for the area do not utilize this parcel for road right-of-way and the
best use of the property would be incorporation into adjacent development.
The state deed for the conveyance of forfeited lands has a restriction on it stating it shall be used
exclusively for right-of-way. The new property owner will need to have those rights vacated when
development of the area occurs.
The city cannot sell the property but can reconvey it back to the state and once approved by the
Department of Revenue the parcel would be available for the next public sale.
Financial Impact
There are costs associated with recording the reconveyance with the county are approximately$50.
Attachments
■ Location Map
■ Resolution
POWERED 6T
AR
