Call Meeting to Order <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River City Council <br />was called to order at 6:31 p.m. by Mayor Dietz. <br /> <br />2. Pledge of Allegiance <br /> <br /> The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. <br /> <br />3. Consider 08 /01/2016 Agenda <br /> <br />Moved by Councilmember Wagner and seconded by Councilmember <br />Westgaard to approve the August 1, 2016, agenda. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br />4. Consider Consent Agenda <br /> <br /> Councilmember Wagner made a minor correction to the July 18 minutes, page 7 with <br />the paragraph beginning Councilmember Wagner stated she is not sure what is used to define <br />trees. She stated she would like the ordinance to allow the applicant other options if <br />they have a heavily wooded lot, etc. <br /> <br /> Moved by Councilmember Westgaard and seconded by Councilmember <br />Olsen to approve the following consent agenda: <br /> <br /> 4.1 July 18, 2016, regular meeting minutes as amended. <br />4.2 Check register, check numbers 97746-97913 and 9860 as outlined in the <br />staff report. <br /> <br />
