Are aiL of the riding activities happening in the building or will some be occurring outside <br />(weather permitting)? If outside, how much area will it encompass and where on the site <br />will it be? Will the land be utilized for crop land, if so, how much? Yes, all of the therapeutic <br />riding activities will be taking place within the indoor arena. This provides a controlled, safe <br />environment for the children. There will not be therapeutic riding taking place outside of the <br />indoor riding arena. <br /> <br />The intent is to utilize approximately 15 acres of the property for a rotating crop of <br />hay/alfalfa mix and corn. <br /> <br />B.) It will be recommended that the manure be managed following the MPCA Technical <br />Guidelines for Manure Management and Applications. Has this been completed? Yes, we <br />have established a manure management plan. This includes working with neighboring <br />farmers to increase the available crop land for disbursement of the manure generated by <br />our horses. We will utilize some of the' manure on our own crops covering the 15 acres, <br />however, the balance of the manure will be spread according to the plan in cooperation with <br />the neighboring farmers. <br /> <br />9.) Detailed site plan showing the proposed center and location of parking. What will the <br />parking lot surface material be? Where will outside riding take place? The site plan will follow <br />tomorrow. Initially the parking lot surface material will be class 5, identical to the existing <br />driveway. All of the therapeutic riding activities will be taking place within the indoor arena. <br />This provides a controlled, safe environment for the children.
