Carcass means the body or part of a domestic animal or fowl that has died, been killed, or has <br />been slaughtered for human or animal consumption and not used for that purpose. <br /> <br />Subsection 2. Discarded animal parts means all or parts of animals, fish, or poultry that have been killed for <br />human or animal consumption and not used for that purpose. <br /> <br />Subsection 3. Poultrv means turkeys, chickens, and other domesticated fowl. <br /> <br />Subsection 4. Animal Unit means a unit of measurement. Forthe purpose of this Ordinance any animal not <br />listed on the following Animal Unit Equivalent Chart of this Ordinance shall be defined as the average weight <br />of the animal divided by 1.000 pounds. <br /> <br />Subsection 5. All carcasses and discarded anima! parts shall be properly disposed of by being taken to a <br />rendering plant or a properly permitted and licensed MSW landfill unless exempted herein. Carcasses and <br />discarded animal parts shall not be buried on-site except for domesticated animals or those property owners <br />that qualifies under Subsections 7 and 8 of this Ordinance. Domesticated animals may be buried on-site in a <br />shallow grave if it did not die of a disease. <br /> <br />Subsection 7.
