Housing and Redevelopment Minutes Page 2 <br />June 6, 2016 <br />----------------------------- <br /> <br />6.1 Public Hearings - None <br /> <br />7.1 HRA Housing Rehabilitation Loan Program Update <br /> <br /> (Commissioner Kuester arrived at this time – 5:35 p.m.) <br /> <br /> Colleen Eddy presented the staff report. She provided an update on the recent activities <br />related to the program. Ms. Eddy noted that there will be an article in The Current, the city’s <br />newsletter. <br /> <br />Ms. Eddy stated she is working with staff on a video regarding the loan program, featuring a <br />homeowner who utilized the program. Chair Toth asked if there would be “before” and <br />“after” photos in the video. Ms. Eddy stated yes, and also in the updated flyer she is <br />working on. <br /> <br />7.2 Bylaw Amendment <br /> <br /> Amanda Othoudt reviewed the proposed amendment, removing the assignment of taking <br />minutes from the HRA Secretary position. <br /> <br /> Motion by Commissioner Chuba and seconded by Commissioner Eder to approve <br />the proposed change to the HRA Bylaws: <br /> <br />3.4) Secretary - The Secretary, who shall be selected from among the <br />Commissioners, shall be responsible for reviewing the minutes of each <br />meeting of the Authority. The Secretary shall also perform such functions as <br />may be deemed necessary by the Chair. <br /> <br />Motion carried 4-0. <br /> <br />7.2 Proposed date for the HRA Budget Workshop <br /> <br /> Ms. Othoudt stated that July 5, 2016, at 4:30 p.m. has tentatively been set for the HRA <br />budget workshop. <br /> <br />7.3 EDA/HRA Website Soft Launch <br /> <br /> Ms. Eddy reviewed the new EDA/HRA website developed with Golden Shovel. She noted <br />that the site will be updated with the most current information before the final launch. <br />Chair Toth noted that his title says “Vice Chair”. Ms. Eddy stated she will make that change. <br /> <br /> Commissioner Chuba asked who will update the website and how often. Ms. Eddy stated <br />that Economic Development staff and Golden Shovel will have rights to update the site. <br />Ms. Othoudt stated she anticipates making updates weekly to keep it up to date, and that <br />newsfeeds will update automatically. <br />
