GENERAL INFORMATION CONCERNING THE CITY <br /> The Bonds are special obligations of the City payable solely from net revenues of the City's electric <br /> system and shall not constitute a debt for which the full faith and credit or taxing powers of the <br /> City will be pledged. The following information concerning the City is provided for informational <br /> purposes only and not as a representation of security for the Bonds. <br /> General Information <br /> The City is the Sherburne County seat and is located approximately 30 miles northwest of the <br /> Minneapolis/St. Paul metropolitan area. Rail service is provided by Burlington Northern Santa Fe <br /> Railroad and the Northstar Commuter Rail, which has a station located in the City and provides a <br /> convenient connection to downtown Minneapolis and other communities throughout the region. Bus <br /> services are provided to City residents by Northstar Link Commuter Bus, Speco Charter Services,Vision <br /> of Elk River, and TriCAP. The Sherburne County Veteran's Office also coordinates a transportation <br /> program, Sherburne County VA Medical Center Transportation,which provides veterans transportation to <br /> the Minneapolis and St. Cloud VA Medical Centers free of charge. <br /> -26 - <br /> 144 <br />
