Call Meeting to Order <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof,the meeting of the Elk River Economic <br /> Development Authority was called to order at 5:00 p.m. by President Tveite. <br /> President Tveite stated the EDA will be holding a closed meeting per MN Statute <br /> §13D.05, subdivision 3(c) to consider an offer to purchase real property,Lot 2, <br /> Block 1 Fox Haven Commercial. <br /> 2. Adjourn Regular Meeting <br /> President Tveite adjourned the regular meeting at 5:01 p.m. <br /> 3. Closed Meeting <br /> Moved by Commissioner Olsen and seconded by Commissioner Burandt to <br /> turn down the purchase agreement offer based on the following: <br /> 1. Offer is substantially below appraised value. <br /> 2. This type of project is not a business subsidy candidate,which would <br /> be triggered by this purchase. <br /> 3. EDA is looking for different use (more density or more intense retail) <br /> Motion carried 6-0. <br /> There being no further business,President Tveite adjourned the closed meeting of <br /> the Elk River Economic Development Authority at 5:21 p.m. <br /> rills A 'UR€ <br />
