iver <br />Ordinance 16 - <br />to be removed <br />Underlines to be added <br />An Ordinance Amending Section 30-1584 (MU -ERP mixed use Elk River Plaza <br />district) and adding Section 30-881 (MU -ERP mixed use Elk River Plaza district) of <br />the City of Elk River, Minnesota, City Code <br />The City Council of the City of Elk River does hereby ordain as follows: <br />SECTION 1. That � 30-1584 (e), MU -ERP mixed use Elk River Plaza district of the City of Elk <br />River Code of Ordinances shall be amended to remove the following language: <br />SECTION 2. That � 30-881 (b), MU -ERP mixed use Elk River Plaza district of the City of Elk <br />River Code of Ordinances shall be added, and read as follows: <br />(a) Signage. <br />(1) Temporary signs as permitted in section 30-851 et sec. <br />(2) Permanent signs. <br />a. Wall signs. Total wall sign area not to exceed 15 percent of facade area. Wall signs are <br />permitted on any facade that is not directly adjacent to a residential zone. Businesses in <br />multi -tenant facilities shall be allowed their proportionate share of permitted wall sign <br />area.
