Following are the proposed changes to the current Labor Agreement: <br /> <br />1. Duration: A two-year agreement for 2005 and 2006. <br /> <br />2. Wages: 5% increase for 2005 <br />3% increase for 2006 <br /> <br />3. Insurance: $15.00 per month increase in City contribution for 2005 to $541.00 <br />$15.00 per month increase in City contribution for 2006 to $556.00 <br /> <br />4. Sick Leave: Severance - New Language <br /> <br />An employee terminating after completing 20 years of consecutive service will receive <br />payment for twenty-five percent (25%) of his /her accumulated sick leave balance up to a <br />maximum of two hundred forty (240) hours of pay . Payment shall be at the current rate <br />of pay. <br /> <br />5. Bereavement Leave: <br /> <br />Add grandparents-in-law to the list of family members for which employees receive one <br />(1) day ofleave. <br /> <br />6. <br /> <br />Uniforms: <br /> <br />$20.00 per year increase for 2005 to $615.00 <br />$20.00 per year increase for 2006 to $635.00 <br />
