The Conditional Use Permit shall not be recorded until all applicable conditions have been <br /> completed. <br /> 2. The authorized use shall not begin until the Conditional Use Permit is recorded. <br /> 3. If the authorized use ceases for more than six months, the Conditional Use Permit shall expire. <br /> 4. The Conditional Use Permit is not a building permit and the applicant must apply for and receive <br /> approval of required building and sign permits before construction may begin. <br /> 5. The building shall meet all building and fire codes. <br /> 6. The private kennel shall be limited to five (5) animals over the age of 6 months. Additional <br /> animals will require an amendment to the Conditional Use Permit. <br /> 7. Animal waste, on or off site, shall be disposed of per City Ordinance Section 10-9. <br /> 8. The applicant shall receive a private kennel license from the city. <br /> 9. All animals must be licensed and vaccinated. <br /> 10. No dogs shall be allowed to run at large as outlined in Section 10-2. <br /> 11. No more than two (2) animals per supervisor shall be allowed outside of the fenced area. <br /> 12. All dog waste shall be cleaned up immediately when dogs are off of the subject property. <br /> 13. No dogs designated as dangerous or potentially dangerous are allowed to be kept at the kennel <br /> and keeping of a dangerous or potentially dangerous dog shall be grounds for revocation. <br /> Background/Discussion <br /> Case No. CU 16-08 <br /> The property is zoned R-1b (Single Family Residential) where private kennels require a Conditional Use <br /> Permit (CUP). <br /> The applicant is seeking a CUP to have a private kennel to keep five dogs on their property. A private <br /> kennel means any premises where more than three dogs or three cats over the age of six months are <br /> harbored or kept. <br /> Analysis <br /> The applicant has two Corgis (spayed), one Siberian Husky (will be spayed in a month), and two, 3-month <br /> old puppies from the Husky (too young to be neutered). <br /> POWERED 6T <br /> AR <br />
