CITY OF ELK RIVER INFORMATION <br /> NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br /> The Elk River City Council will conduct a public hearing on Monday, <br /> October 18, 1993, at 7 p.m. , at the Elk River City Hall, 13065 Orono <br /> Parkway, to consider a request by John 0. Oliver, and Lynn R. Caswell to <br /> subdivide approximately 5 1/2 acres into three industrial lots. The <br /> property is generally located north of County Road No. 1 and east of <br /> Watson Street alignment (Meadowvale Commercial Park). <br /> Legal description of the subject property is that part of the North Half <br /> of the Southwest Quarter of Section 28, Township 33, Range 26, Sherburne <br /> County, Minnesota; lying north of the North line of the right-of-way of <br /> County State Aid Highway No. 1; lying west of the Westerly line of the <br /> right-of-way of the discontinued Burlington Northern Railroad Company <br /> (formerly the Great Northern Railway) ; and lying east of a line described <br /> as Commencing at the Northwest corner of said North Half of the Southwest <br /> • Quarter; thence on an assumed bearing of East along the North line thereof <br /> for 860.89 feet to the actual Point of Beginning of the line to be hereby <br /> described; thence South 0 degrees 08 minutes 50 seconds West for 271.80 <br /> feet, more or less, to intersect with and terminate at said north line of <br /> the highway right-of-way. <br /> As part of the review process for requests of this nature, we attempt to <br /> notify all property owners at least 350 feet in distance from the subject <br /> property. Tax records from the Sherburne County Auditor's Office indicate <br /> that you own property within or near the 350 foot requirement. All <br /> interested persons are invited to attend the public hearing to express <br /> their questions and/or comments.
