Startup Manufacturing Company <br /> Contact was made with a Ham Lake resident who is in the startup phase of a <br /> manufacturing company which deals with plastic and sheet metal operations. <br /> 6. Startup Manufacturing Company II <br /> Several brothers from the metro area are interested in a start-up business which <br /> would be designated as a minority owned vendor for FMC and Martin Marietta. <br /> This inquiry desired approximately 15,000 square feet of existing space. <br /> Additional information was provided regarding financing programs. <br /> 7. Jim Rossman Homestead Mortgage <br /> Mr. Jim Rossman, whose residence is at 406 Main Street, is pursuing a lot split to <br /> create a second parcel- suitable for the construction of a 1,000 square foot office <br /> building. This building would be owned by Mr. Rossman and his wife and would <br /> be leased to Homestead Mortgage. The finished market value of this expansion is <br /> approximately$100,000. <br /> PREVIOUSLY LISTED PROSPECTS <br /> 1. Morrell Transfer/Brad Larson Redevelopment Proposal <br /> Work continues on the potential redevelopment of the existing Morrell Transfer <br /> site at School Street and Jackson Avenue. Assuming an acceptable site can be <br /> found for Mr. Morrell, the developer is proposing the construction of market rate <br /> apartments on this site. Mr. Morrell already owns a 22 acre site at 171st Avenue <br /> and Highway 169. He desires an alternative to this site so as to improve truck <br /> maneuvers at the Highway 10 and 169 intersection. <br /> 2. John Weicht - IR. Tech Automotive Partnership <br /> John Weicht is working with the proprietor of IR_ Tech Automotive regarding a <br /> potential partnership involving the construction of a commercial building. Part of <br /> the new facility would house J.R. Tech Automotive and the balance of the facility <br /> would be rented to one or more national credit tennants involved in the automotive <br /> business. Staff understands that Mr. Weicht and Mr. Rogness are attempting to <br /> • locate this facility on the Darkenwald property just north of the Pizza Huta <br />
