interim Use Permit 2016—Elk River Lodge <br /> Elk River Lodge is requesting this IUP for 5 years. Elk River Lodge will continue to be operated as an <br /> extended stay property with clients staying a minimum of 30 days,which is how we have operated the <br /> building since 2011.An IUP will allow the time needed to acquire the 2 lots to the south and expand/add <br /> on to Elk River Lodge and transition into an apartment building,which is consistent with the City of Elk <br /> River's FAST study. <br /> Our hours of operations are Monday—Friday from 9am—4pm with a minimum of 3 employees.There <br /> have been no modifications to the parking lot or parking stalls.There is no outdoor storage provided on <br /> the site. <br /> The City code does not define extended stay,which is why we are proposing the IUP. <br /> To address the life/safety concerns with the building,Elk River Lodge will continue to move forward with <br /> the required rental license and will go through the rental license process each year to ensure safety of <br /> the clients and staff at the property. <br />
