PROPOSED ELK RIVER ORDINANCE <br /> • <br /> EXTERIOR BUILDING FINISHES <br /> A. In the Business Park zoning district, all exterior wall finishes on any principal or <br /> accessory building shall be one of, or a combination of,the following: <br /> 1. Brick. <br /> 2. Natural cut or stone. <br /> 3. Integral colored split face (rock face) concrete block. <br /> 4. Specially designed, cast in place concrete or pre-cast concrete units if the <br /> surfaces have been integrally colored and, in the case of building walls <br /> facing a public right of way or residentially zoned neighboring properties <br /> if at least thirty percent (30%) of said façade is combined with one or <br /> more of the following: (i) decorative material (including,without <br /> limitation, items 1-3 and 5-8); and/or(ii)texture and/or architectural <br /> features, including,without limitation, depth changes in the façade, <br /> cornice details, curved/radius corners, columns, and entry features. <br /> 5. Wood,provided the surfaces are finished for exterior use or wood of <br /> • proven exterior durability is used, such as cedar,redwood, or cypress. <br /> 6. Curtain wall panels of steel, fiberglass and aluminum(non-structural, non- <br /> load bearing),provided such panels are factory fabricated and finished <br /> with a durable non-fade surface and their fasteners are of a corrosion <br /> resistant design. <br /> 7. Glass or glass curtain wall panels,prefinished metal, fiberglass or similar <br /> materials or cor-ten steel (other than unpainted, galvanized metal or <br /> corrugated materials). <br /> 8. Stucco (or EIFS) and other cementation coating applied in a manner so as <br /> to create a harmonious design in conjunction with the materials. <br /> 9.
