• Marketing Events' Results <br /> In October 2000, participated with the MN Department of Economic Development in <br /> recognition of MN Manufacturing&Technology Month including a site tour of Aggregate <br /> Industries, an Elk River concrete block plant, sponsored by the EDA. <br /> The City of Elk River developed an attractive marketing exhibit/booth that was used at two <br /> events in 2001—the Minnesota Real Estate Journal (MRJE) Site Selection Conference and <br /> the Minnesota Manufacturing&Technology Month luncheon event. <br /> In May 2001, co-sponsored the Sherburne County Real Estate Broker/Developer Event <br /> held in City of Big Lake with over 50 attendees. <br /> In October 2001, co-sponsored the MREJ Site Selection Conference with over 250 <br /> attendees. The Economic Development director participated on a panel " Municipal and <br /> Business Park Marketing Plans and Incentives." The City of Elk River also had a booth at <br /> the conference held at the University of St. Thomas, Minneapolis campus. <br /> In October 2001,participated with the MN Department of Economic Development in the <br /> recognition of MN Manufacturing&Technology Month.Co-sponsored a luncheon with the <br /> EDA and the Chamber of Commerce. Rick Speckmann,President of Amcon Construction, <br /> was the featured speaker.Tours were offered at three local manufacturers:E&0 Tool and <br /> • Plastics, Tescom Corporation, and Sportech. Over 20 local businesses attended. <br /> • <br /> Duckor&Associates,Inc. 16 <br /> A BluePrint for Your Success Today and Tomorrow <br />
