Bill Lucking,EDAM President The Economic Development Response Team <br /> concept an initiative of the foundation is becoming a reality.Preliminary talks with <br /> DEED Commissioner Kramer were very positive as far as collaborating with the <br /> Bronze department regarding communities in the state that may need assistance with their E.D. <br /> programs.We should hear more about this in the future. <br /> The Emerging Roles in Economic Development panel at last summer s conference gave <br /> • Alliant Energy us an opportunity to understand the Minnesota Chamber s business retention program <br /> • City of Brooklyn Park and how we may play a role in this effort.Our educational programs will give chamber <br /> • Dorsey&Whitney LLP professionals a better understanding of how economic development works. <br /> • Great River Energy/ <br /> Northspan As EDAM s president,I have attempted to establish an alliance for a regional presence <br /> • Kennedy&Graven in the Greater Metro area.We are sorely lacking;we are one of few metropolitan areas in <br /> • Northland Securities,Inc. the country that does not have this kind of collaboration.It is long overdue. <br /> • ProSource Technologies <br /> • Schoell&Madson,Inc.
