<br /> <br /> <br />PROCLAMATION <br /> <br />"Election Judge Day" <br /> <br />Proclaming November 2, 2004 As <br />Election Judge Day <br />In Elk River, Minnesota <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Election Judges serve as the Gatekeepers of Democracy and the public's <br />Guardians of rreedom within a democratic society; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Election Judges are responsible for the integrity of the election process; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Election Judges proudly conduct elections with accuracy, fairness and dignity; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Election Judges conduct themselves and serve the voters in a manner that <br />maintains public trust and confidence in honest and impartial elections; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Election Judges continue to proudly support the City of Elk River's election <br />process; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, over one hundred Election Judges were selected to serve in eight precincts in <br />the City of Elk River for the elections of September 14 and November 2, 2004; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the dedication and commitment of these Election Judges in serving the community <br />when called upon is highly commendable. <br /> <br />THEREFORE, I, Stephanie Klinzing, Mayor of the City of Elk River, do hereby proclaim <br />November 2, 2004 as "Election Judge Day", honoring and thanking all Election <br />Judges who are proudly serving the voters in the great City of Elk River. <br /> <br />~.~ <br /> <br />Stephanie A.
