Jim also has a Mechanical Engineering <br /> degree from the University of Wisconsin Madison. <br /> The large demand for store fixtures and point-of-purchase(P.O.P.)displays has remained <br /> steady for decades and having worked in this industries for twenty five years,Mr. Buchta, <br /> Mr. Michalek,and Mr. Studee have developed a strong relationship with many companies <br /> giving us a distinct advantage. This is why Display Solutions Inc., (DSI)a newly formed <br /> company headquartered in Elk River,MN chooses to design and manufacture store fixtures <br /> and P.O.P. displays. <br /> In order to start this business the total cost of equipment, and operating capital for 6 months <br /> is approximately$300,000. DSI is seeking a relationship with American National bank in Elk <br /> River to acquire a loan in the amount of$150,000 for equipment. DSI will also try to secure <br /> a loan from Elk River City Economic Development in the amount of$50,000. The three <br /> owners will provide cash investment of$100,000 for office and manufacturing equipment. <br /> 1.1 Business Opportunity <br /> DSI will engineer,manufactures and distribute two product lines.
