. • <br /> SI �I • Department of Employment <br /> r and Economic Development <br /> /flflOSetci <br /> Speaker Bio: <br /> Cameron Macht is the Regional Labor Market Analyst in the Central and Southwest Regions <br /> for the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development. Cameron <br /> provides regional stakeholders with accessible expertise and analysis services; and extends <br /> labor market information to assist in planning and decision making. He can be reached at <br /> (320) 231-5174 ext. 7535 or by e-mail at cameron.macht@istate.mn.us. <br /> In the last year, the DEED Regional Analysis team handled more than 1,000 requests, <br /> ranging from quick fact-finding to research design, analysis,, and internal consulting <br /> services. In addition, the team delivered over 120 presentations, briefings, and trainings to <br /> audiences interested in labor market dynamics, trends, workforce shortages, and availability <br /> of statistics. DEED outreach services are designed to provide WorkForce Center staff and <br /> regional audiences with a better understanding of the labor market. Regional Analysts also <br /> collaborate with regional stakeholders and other researchers to develop new research and <br /> information resources. He edited the company's quarterly journal and <br /> S <br /> managed Wilson Learning's website and internal knowledge management resources. Other <br /> responsibilities included market research, internal communications, and some database <br /> management. He has also worked as a Marketing Specialist for the Northspan Group, a non- <br /> profit economic development consultancy in Duluth; and as the Research Director for Mill <br /> City Marketing, a market research firm in the Twin Cities. He graduated magna cum laude <br /> with a B.B.A. in Organizational Management and Marketing from the University of <br /> Minnesota, Duluth. Cameron is originally from Raymond. <br /> • <br />
