The consultant establishes a specific research design for the historic context study <br /> in consultation with appropriate parties from the City,the HPC, and the Sherburne <br /> County Historical Society. This research design will identify likely sources of <br /> information,potential themes for the City's historic contexts, and a priority for <br /> tasks to be completed. <br /> Due Date: December 20, 2001. <br /> 2. The consultant submits a progress report to the HPC. <br /> Due Date: January 10, 2002. <br /> 3. The consultant submits draft context study and a report evaluating progress to <br /> date and any recommended changes in the research design. <br /> Due Date: March 14,2002. <br /> 4. Consultant submits draft final report and Historic Context Report to the HPC. <br /> Due Date: April 11, 2002. <br /> 5. Consultant meets with HRA and submits final report. <br /> Due Date: April 22, 2002. <br /> • 6. Project closeout and submission of final documentation to SHPO. <br /> Due Date: May 3,2002. <br /> The document to be completed for Step 1 above is critically important for the success of <br /> the project. All appropriate parties should be consulted early in the planning process,the <br /> best sources of information identified, and priorities established in consultation with <br /> appropriate parties. Careful attention at this stage can help ensure that a complex process <br /> of historical research remains manageable and that appropriate project deliverables are <br /> identified and deadlines established. <br /> • <br />
