1 TEAM MEMBERS AND EXPERIENCE 4 River Village Project Team For the River Village project, we have assembled a team comprised of several leading firms and individuals that will provide the expertise to effectively plan, design, construct and manage a successful redevelopment project. This team,in collaboration with the City of Elk River, will function as a single resource for the project from concept through com- pletion. A brief introduction of the team is summarized below,followed by resumes of team members and firm experience. Jon Hempel, Best& Hempel. Jon brings 10 years of diverse real estate/development experience, with key knowledge in managing the design and construction process. Jon, along with BobBest will manage project development and marketing and interface with the community from the inception. Bob Best, Best&Hempel. With over 19years of ex erience in the real estate industry, p � ry Bob brings expertise in real estate valuation, financial analysis, marketing and project implementation. Bob and Jon will work together in the development, marketing and pub- lic approvals process. • Jerry Hagen,AIA, Hagen Christensen Mcllwain Architects. Jerry brings over 21 years of diversified design experience to the project team with a depth of knowledge in building construction types and materials. He will work with Tim Mcllwain and Roger Christensen during the design phase of the project. Tim Mcllwain, AIA, Hagen Christensen Mcllwain Architects. With 14 years architec- ture experience, Tim provides a broad spectrum of experience in planning, design and development Tim will work in concert with Jerry Hagen, Roger Christensen and the bal- ance of the project team in developing a design approach that meets with the overall goals of River Village. Roger Christensen,AIA, Hagen Christensen Mcllwain Architects. Roger has 13 years of diverse experience in the architecture industry, with specific expertise in project pro- gramming, conceptual design, design development, construction documentation and con- struction administration. Roger and Tim will work jointly in the design and implementation phases of the project. Dave Rollins, Kraus-Anderson Construction Company. With 20 years of construction experience, and involvement in the development of over 4,000 multi-unit housing projects in the last ten years, Dave Iarings the depth of experience and resources that will ensure the timely, quality and cost effective execution of all pre-construction and construction phase services for this project. • Michael Schroeder, RLA, Hoisington Koegler Group,Inc. With 16 years of experience in the field of community and urban design and knowledge of the downtown Elk River set- ting,Michael will provide valuable continuity to the Riverwalk vision,and will assist in lever- aging the broader goals and character of downtown within the River Village project. 3 ( H
