ENGAGEMENT OF STUDENTS/STAFF/PARENTS/ COMMUNITY <br />(Goal #2 - Improve internal and external relationships by engaging students, staff, <br />parents and community members in support of student achievement.) <br /> <br />A. Open Forum <br /> <br />Opinions and ideas contributed by students, parents, staff and other citizens are <br />valuable to the School Board. The Board will receive such input without <br />comment or take no action relative to any items brought forth. They may direct <br />the Superintendent of Schools to consider such an item at an appropriate place on <br />the agenda or a subsequent meeting. We have set aside twenty minutes for this <br />purpose. Anyone wishing to address the Board is asked to fill out a card prior to <br />the start of the meeting. Request of Middle School Principals <br /> <br />The district middle school principals will ask the School Board to authorize a <br />non-student day for all middle schools on Friday, November 5 to allow all middle <br />school staffto attend a national conference in Minneapolis on middle school <br />programs. <br /> <br />-1- <br />
