THE BRIGGS COMPANIES <br /> Conditional Use Permit - Project Narrative <br /> 17432 Zane Street NW Elk River, MN 55330 <br /> We are requesting that the conditional use permit be honored to operate 17432 Zane Street NW Elk River as a hotel. <br /> The building is currently operating as an extended stay hotel and will remain a hotel until the property can be rezoned to <br /> work within the guidelines for high density to be consistent with the City's Comprehensive plan. The hours of operation <br /> are Monday—Friday 9am—4pm and will be staffed during those hours. We will have 1-4 employees at the site.There is <br /> no signage required for the site.There is no outside storage on the site. We are currently in contact with the MN <br /> Department of Health to have the lodging license reinstated. The neighboring property to the east,owned by Sun Rae <br /> Apartment, LLC., has agreed to sell or partner with Elk River Lodge to expand in the future to put up luxury market rate <br /> apartments. <br />
