However,based on the Focused <br /> Area Study and the Comprehensive Plan,a rezoning to permit apartments is appropriate. I encourage you <br /> to formally submit an application to rezone the property to R-4,which allows apartment buildings as a <br /> permitted use. <br /> Please note that abandoning a use established by a Conditional Use (the hotel)will cause the Conditional <br /> Use Permit to expire after 6 months. Our records reflect that the property stopped being a hotel on May <br /> 1, 2014.
