There is a publicly <br />dedicated right-of-way in this area from one of the old plats of the original City. Although <br />this is a platted right-of-way, it has been approximately 20 years. that it has not actually been <br />a drivable road to the lake. The old street surface was removed and lawn was established <br />next to Mr. and Mrs. Dargis' home. -I have checked with Fire Cbief Bruce West and there is <br />no Fire Department need to ever utilize this public right-of-way to get to Lake Orono. I <br />would guess that most people would think that there is no public right-of-way, since it has <br />been established as a lawn for so many years.
