After review by the Council it was unanimously agreed that these 1976 proposals were well <br />within the over all wage scales of other units of this type of business. _ <br />Ray Doebler once again met with the Council and stated that even after our resent long <br />hot dry spell water still remains in the bog. The Council stated that it appears that <br />either silt has gathered on the surface thus not slowing penetration or another <br />possiblity being that a flowing spring has erupt due to the high water table earlyihis"sprit <br />Several members of the Chamber of Commerce met with the Council and requested the following. <br />1) questioned the rough condition of the railroad crossings. <br />2) would like the City to take under consideration helping the Chamber with a $800.00 <br />debt, owing on there road signs. <br />3) also requested city crews help in erecting one sign. <br />The Council stated that they should contact the Utilities to have the holes dug and <br />check with Ken Nelson for any additional help they need. As to the $800.00 the Council <br />will have to check the legality of this type of expenditure first. <br />No further business the meeting adjourned at 9:23 PM. <br />ClerkâTreasure: <br />
