<br />Overall, the number of covered jobs in Elk River increased by 44%, or 3,870 jobs since 2000.
<br />Covered jobs have remained relatively stable with few small declines from 2005 through the
<br />economic recession. The City of Elk River is currently at its h over the period
<br />with 12,737 jobs in 2014.
