There is also residential <br />zoning to the east of the subject site. <br />In the review of the standards for a Zone Change as outlined, it appears that the request is consistent <br />with all of these standards. <br />Analysis <br />Comprehensive Plan <br />The property currently has a land use designation of Development Reserve/Mining/Residential and the <br />applicant has requested (LU 15-08) to amend to comprehensive plan to guide the property for <br />development as Highway Business/Mining. <br />In order for the properties to be rezoned the underlying land use needs to support the proposed zoning <br />district, which it currently does not.
