Sub-grade composed of bedrock and local preference for plaza-style terrain drove an <br />above-grade design, but we refused to settle for a strictly linear layout. A colored concrete swirl winds through the skatepark, at one point capitalizing on a <br />natural elevation change at the site. <br />In addition to architectural and aesthetic finesse, the skatepark focuses on a healthy balance of terrain for varying skill levels and riding styles. And as an <br />added bonus, construction was completed on-budget and on-schedule. <br />
