July Production Report Another busy month. The 4th of July in Delano, 4 days of fun Starting with the Delano Coronation. We set up speakers and 2 cameras in Municipal Stadium My next event wasn't actually in Delano. On Thursday we recorded Platinum FM in Big Lake. Friday was more Delano events, I set up speakers for the American Legion Memorial event and for the Kiddy Tractor Pull. Saturday was the big parade. We were in a new location in Downtown Delano, and we had a couple of firsts. one first was we were able to use the Municipal Utilities bucket truck for a camera right over the center of the parade,providing some very unique shots. Another first for us was two local celebrities announcing the parade for us. Terri Traen and Melissa Keller. Terri you all know from KQRS Morning show, grew up in Delano. Melissa is from long lake, and was a model for Sports Illustrated and was in several movies. Melissa's brother lives in Delano and is involved in the community. After the parade was more sound support for the bean bag tournament. A fun concert in Elk River, Song Blast Friday was Delano Movie in the Baseball Park,this was a rain reschedule. Sunday July 12th was the Monticello Riverfest Parade We have had a couple of rain outs this month, starting with a Concert in Big Lake, Outside Recess,the next day with the Maple Lake Movie in the Park. The Watertown parade was cancelled due to storm damage,but we were still able to do the Elk River Parade. The Jimmy's played in Elk River on the 23rd Rockford and Monticello Movie in the Park And Last event this month was an Elk River concert, the Fabulous Armadillos. Also this month I was available to help cable cast meetings for Big Lake, Buffalo and Delano I also had a weekend without events. My family and had a relaxing weekend near Northholm MN at my daughter-in-law's family cabin.
